November 1998 was a turning point for the former company 'Kynaston Coachworks' when our family run independent business began trading as 'Kynaston Auto Services Ltd' from our new location on the Marsh Barton Trading Estate. Founded in 1971 by Paul Kynaston there was a recognised need for a premises which would complement the increasing breadth of service the company could offer. Working on both cars and commercial vehicles, and having a client base throughout the South West, has seen a phase of continued expansion for the company. Kynaston's expertise in bodywork and our investment in the facilities to complete this type of work led the company to receive the coveted 'Bodyshop of the Year' award for the Midlands and the South West region in 2001.

With a new Operator's licence recently introduced, building plans in progress, and MOT test facilities, director Paul Kynaston is not resting on his laurels. Rallying is a big part of the business as Paul has taken his historic rally car to three major championship wins in the decade since he started competing. The passion has had a terrific influence on the business. Kynaston Auto Services Ltd also has the capacity to restore and repair most classic cars, and as you might expect from a 'Bodyshop of the Year', fabrication of panels to original specifications is one of our forte's.

In recent years, Car sales has come to represent an increasing contributer to turnover and offers a wide range of prestige, performance and family cars across the price spectrum.

The customer led organic growth reflects Kynaston's clients confidence in our abilities as mechanical engineers.
